Powered parachutes (PPCs) are considered by many to be one of the safest ways to fly because of their inherent stability and limited response to control inputs.  If the parachute doesn't inflate you can't take off and if the engine quits while you are flying, you have a parachute to glide safely back down.

PPC pilots typically enjoy flying low and slow.  The PPC is an excellent platform for sightseeing and photography.

PPCs do not need an airport to take off and land and can be used in any area that isn't populated by humans and houses.
